Are you wondering what to do with the kids in Edmonton this weekend? With holiday celebrations in full force around the city, there’s plenty to do. Here are some of our choices of how to spend the weekend exploring everything Edmonton has to offer for family events.

Come visit with Santa at the ReidBuilt Homes’ third annual Christmas in Riverside celebration. There are free treats for parents and children, as well as free photos with Santa, a face painter and caricature and balloon artists. Wander down Children’s Christmas Lane, where meeting Santa, visiting the North Pole post office (with instant delivery!), storytelling, or getting Christmas crafty are just a few things to do. With hundreds of trees and lights, live music, and shopping, it’s kinda like stepping into your own personal snow globe. So, check out #YEGFOT this year, where the proceeds go to helping the brain…which turns out is also good for the heart.
