Get Ready in the Park 
The 11th annual Get Ready in the Park is on Saturday May 12 from 10am-3pm at Hawrelak Park. This year’s theme is “Be Emergency Ready.” At the event, you can learn and experience how emergency equipment and vehicles help Edmonton and Metro Region responders do their job. This is a perfect opportunity for kids (or kids at heart) to get behind the wheel of a fire truck or peek inside other emergency vehicles.

Coding and Cupcakes at the Microsoft Store
In honor of Mother’s Day, the Microsoft Store at West Edmonton Mall will be hosting our 1st annual Code and Cupcakes event! Students and their mother/caregiver will have the opportunity to participate together in a fun creative technology workshop!
In this free one-hour workshop, participants will taking part in a coding class and students will then be able to create Mother’s Day cards in Fresh Paint or Paint 3D. Each student and their mother/caregiver will receive a cupcake at the end as a Mother’s Day gift.
