We’re near the end of wrapping up Spring Break but that doesn’t mean the activities have to come to an end. There’s plenty to do with the kids this weekend, whether you’re searching for free drop-in playdate fun, or even a family yoga class. What to do with Kids in Edmonton This Weekend 

Spring Break Yoga | Friday, 3-4 pm
Join us for a complimentary yoga class at Navina Yoga on Friday, March 31st from 3-4pm. Please rsvp at the link above to let us know you’re coming. Join the class, and maybe you’ll find some new apparel while you’re there.

Garden Program: Berry Sweet | Saturday 11 am
Greenland Garden Centre in Sherwood Park is once again offering fun sessions for budding gardeners ages 5-9. These 30 minute sessions are just $5.00. Pre-registration required, call 780-467-7557. Space limited. Berry Sweet – Kids will pot up their very own strawberry plant and learn all about growing them at home. We’ll even craft a special stake to mark its spot in the garden.

Spring Festival at the Creek | Saturday, 1-5
Join Us for a Spring Festival taking place April 1, 2017, at the showhomes in The Creek at Harvest Ridge. We have a fulfilled afternoon from 1pm to 5pm for your family and friends to become acquainted with our community. Party Central Petting Zoo will be onsite, with up to thirty small animals to interact with, certain to entertain the child in all of us. Wagon Rides will loop around Grove Drive, Harvest Ridge Drive and back to Hope Common where four great builders will showcase five show homes on parade. Perks Coffee and the Sticky Fingers Eats and Treats Food Truck will also be onsite for those who like to indulge in finger food.

Crankpots Kids Night Out | Saturday, 6-10
This night is for kids only. We will be offering dinner plate & small dip bowl. Great for veggies and dip or just use as a regular plate. Suitable for all ages your child can make a Keep Out sign or put their favourite band name on it or just a picture they like! Comes complete with wall hanger. $30 per child 2 kids from the same family $50. Parents will be able to drop their kids off and wander down Whyte ave and enjoy dinner & drinks or cake & coffee for a few hours. Kids must be school age. Please call & reserve.

Downtown Street Party | Saturday Afternoon
On April 1, in partnership with EEDC, the Foundry Real Estate Co. will be hosting their annual Second Season Street Party from 11am – 8pm. We will be shutting down Rice Howard Way for the event to allow for family-friendly programming elements and street level extended patios for Craft Beer Market, McLeod Tavern, Sherlock Holmes Pub and Tres Carnales will be there cooking up their famous tacos. Programming elements include free wagon rides, a bouncy castle, EPL colouring corner, live music curated by the Chvrch of John, and more!
