What to do in Edmonton this Weekend (With Kids) | April 28-30

The gloomy weather is set to clear up on Friday and Saturday, making it the perfect time to experience the first Midway of the season. Whether you’re heading out for mini doughnuts, or you’re searching for other fun activities to do with the kids, there’s plenty to choose from.

Family Fling | Saturday, 10-3
Come hang out with Paw Patrol Mascots, at 11 and 1pm, shop local vendors and take part in a doula workshop with Red Fish Blue Fish family events. This weekend, the midway is at Abbotsfield Mall. Wildrose shows, who is bringing the Midway, usually has two times daily where there are unlimited rides with the purchase of a bracelet during specific times of the day.

$2 Craft Time at Michaels | Saturday, 10 am
They make; you shop! Kids 3 and up can enjoy making an April Showers 3D Canvas. Sign up in-store or just drop in. $2 per project, supplies included. Parent or guardian must remain on premises during the event.

Mom to Mom Shop & Swap | Saturday, 10-4
The Mom to Mom Show is bringing many handmade, unique and hard-to-find products together along with this city’s best local businesses geared to families! With shopping, education, their infamous Swag Bags, and of course, fun for the littles, this is the must attend family event of the year!

Artists Kids Day Out at Melting Pot | Sunday, 11-3
Join the Melting Pot for this months Kids Day Out as we let the inner artists in each of us out! Join us for a 3 course fondue menu followed by some fantastic artistic crafts in our party room area.
