What to do in Edmonton This Weekend (with Kids) | April 21-23

Toys R Us Playday | Saturday Morning
Put some spring in your step and head to your closest Toys R Us location. There’s plenty to do between 11-1, from make and take activities to bring home with you, monkeying around with some fun and games, crayola art activities in-store, and giveaways and contests to win. Supplies are limited, get to your local store early, to get in on the fun.

The Family Fling | Saturday, 10-3
The Family Fling is a Family friendly event on April 22nd, at the Agora, Stratchona Community Centre.  Come celebrate and see Paw Patrol mascots Chase and Marshall (11 am – 1 pm). While the kids are entertained, you can shop 40+ Handmade and Local Family Friendly vendors! There are raffle baskets, a photo booth, door prizes and more.

I Heart Edmonton Spring | Sunday, 1-4
On Sunday, April 23, from 1 – 4 pm, come down to Whitemud Park and explore spring in Edmonton’s River Valley. Try out free activities such as; bannock making, nature walks, outdoor skills, geocaching and much, much more! Enjoy some tasty snacks while exploring the River Valley Programs partner booths.  This is a family-friendly event that is free to attend!

Family Tie Dye Activity | Saturday, 1-3
It’s tie-dye month at Michaels! You and your little makers can create matching tie-dye shirts in the classic bullseye pattern. Buy the t-shirt and the rest of your supplies are free.

Kids Club Earth Day Project | Saturday, 10-12
They make; you shop! Kids 3 and up can enjoy making some fun Earth Day Projects. Sign up in-store or just drop in. $2 per project, supplies included. Parent or guardian must remain on premises during the event.

Princess Sing a Long | Saturday
Have you ever wanted to sing along with a princess? Now you can! At the new Aussie Rules Piano Bar, in West Edmonton Mall, there’s a fun sing along event, Saturday afternoon. For $35, food and beverages are included, and you can sing along to your favourite princess songs.

Spring Social in Paisley | Saturday, 3-6
Join us on Saturday, April 22nd between 3:00 – 6:00pm at the Paisley Front Garage Show Homes to celebrate spring with friends, food, and festivities! Featuring spring-themed food and drinks from The Workshop Eatery and XIX Nineteen. Get entertained by a magician, or get your portrait drawn by a caricature artist.
