Butterfly Day at the Botanic Gardens
A fun-filled family event! Meet beautiful butterflies from around the world in our Tropical Showhouse. Make bug and butterfly crafts, catch some interesting creatures with our nature interpreters, and learn about the fascinating world of butterflies. Dress up as your favorite bug or butterfly and spend a wonderful spring day outdoors with the butterflies at the Garden. Most activities are included with admission, nominal charge for some crafts.

Brought to you by volunteerism and community involvement, Taste of Edmonton has become a summer tradition within our city that celebrates all the culinary delights our community has to offer. Pleasing the forever-loyal downtown crowd and other food enthusiasts who head into the heart of the city to sample these scrumptious dishes, Taste of Edmonton has been able to grow into the largest outdoor food festival in Canada.

Family Night at the Muttart
Bring the whole family down for a fun space themed evening. We have special Meteorite specimens provided by the University of Alberta Museums Meteorite Collection, stewarded by the Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences. You’ll also get a chance to learn about gravity with our demonstrations and activities. The Muttart Conservatory will be open until midnight to allow you to get a special viewing of the Museum of the Moon. Regular admission to attend.

National Parks Day at Elk Island Park
