Porkapalooza is one of the barbecue competitions that you’re going to want to check out this summer. Porkapalooza 2015 will be held at Borden Park, June 19-21. Markets for those last minute Father’s Day Gifts, samples of food and one of the best playgrounds in the city, with a kids zone for even more fun – there’s lots to do at Edmonton Porkapalooza.

Sample Barbecue
Though there are no samples available from the competitors that are taking part in the competition, there are food trucks and other venues that are run similar to the taste of Edmonton. You’re going to be able to come down to Borden Park and get tickets for $1/each, sampling local fare like the taste of Edmonton.
Father’s Day Brunch
On Sunday morning, you can take part in Father’s Day brunch. $30 for adults and $12 for kids, you can come out and get a delicious brunch (tickets limited). What’s on the menu? Traditional egg scramble Chorizo, tomato, & cheddar scramble Irvings Farm Fresh bacon Traditional breakfast sausage Breakfast hash Gammon ham Fresh fruit Charcuterie & cheese board Assorted pastries Coffee, Tea and Juice.
Shop the Marketplace
The Marketplace will run all weekend long and see local vendors of every shape and size selling you everything from artisan jewellery and Farmer’s Market wares to ‘Toys for Big Boys’ and BBQ-related merchandise. There will be a special emphasis on Father’s Day and dad (male) skewed vendors.
