What’s a Pond Party? Don’t worry – it’s more exiting than it sounds! The kids (and you) have the chance to come out and learn about the ecosystem around the ponds in Sherwood Park, take tours and take part in other fun activities going on through the event.
The August 25 pond party is located at Heritage Hills Wetland, at 501 Foxboro Drive in Sherwood Park – between 6 to 8 pm. The last one that we went to had activities from the Strathcona County Library, bouncy castles for the kids to play in, tours for the kids through the pond, games and geocaching.
In addition to being a cool night out, the kids got to learn something, and we got to see familiar faces (and meet new ones) in our neighbourhood.
