The first time we visited the Cat Cafe on Whyte, our kids were enthralled. It was opening day, and there weren’t really policies in place yet that limited children visiting the cafe, so we stopped by and visited with cats, made new friends and sipped on a Cataccino, and other cat themed drinks.
It was wonderful. The decor was fun and stylish, and we likened it to visiting with your stylish-grandma, in her living room full of cats.
Our five year old has been asking to go back, again and again. Lucky for us, you can actually visit the cat cafe, with children, for free, between 9-10 am on Sunday mornings. It’s the perfect time to visit the cafe, with your kids, and have a relaxed visit with a borrowed-pet.
Drinks aren’t included in the visit, but it’s another free thing to do in Edmonton with kids this summer. Plus, there are fun games and crafts, while you’re there!
