Remember the fond memories that come with the friendship bracelets of your childhood? Kids can attend the $2 workshop at Michaels stores on May 14 (10 am-12) through the drop in, kids club and learn to make those friendship bracelets created from knots in string.
Staff are available at the workshop to help, but for younger kids, we’ve always seen a couple of parents stay through the session. Whether you stay in the craft room or not, parents have to remain in the store through the session, that usually takes about a half hour.
For a couple of dollars, the kids can learn new skills that you can work on together at-home. At these sessions, the supplies required for the craft are provided for the store, so all you have to do is show up.
Tip: there’s a new craft, every week, for the $2 fee.
