Winter sports registration season is upon us, and if your family is anything like ours – it’s the time when our kids have decided that they’re going to switch it up, and try something new from the fall teams they’ve joined. We’re on the search for something to replace cheerleading and diving, and hockey is in the running for our oldest.
In celebration of the final game of the six-game series between the Canadian Women’s National Team taking on Team USA, Hockey Canada and Hockey Alberta are hosting a ‘Try the Game’ experience for females of all ages to try the game of hockey, through the Esso Fun Day Program.
The event will take place at the Rogers Centre Community Rink, on Sunday December 17th, 2017. Players are encouraged to bring along any equipment they have access to, and EGHA will supply the rest. Don’t forget running shoes and active clothes for off-ice activities!
Female Esso Fun Day Try Hockey Schedule

Come out, try the game and see how you like it – it’s a great opportunity to get some on-ice time before you start registering for winter programs. Register for the try hockey program, right here and register for the try goalie program, right here.
