Leduc Country Lights has been one of our traditions since our kids were small. Every year, we bundle up four kids in their snowsuits and make the drive to Leduc for the outdoor lights display, where we spend the hour walking through the lights, or pulling children unable to walk on a sled, sipping on hot cocoa, and if we’re lucky, a quick visit with Santa.
Earlier this year it was announced that the lights display would be making a comeback, despite it being the final year. The lights have been donated and the interactive Christmas experience will live on – still in Leduc, with a couple of small changes.
LEDUC COUNTRY LIGHTS OPENS NOVEMBER 30
Opening this weekend, the lights display comes with a nominal cost of $2/person. You can purchase your tickets online, in advance or at the door. Bring cash for the admission, as the website doesn’t specify whether there are credit/debit options available.
There are over eight acres of Christmas lights to explore this year, and with the admission costs, the display can grow every year.
The new Leduc Country Christmas Lights is located at the Leduc West Antique Society. You’ll find it at 49541 Range Rd 260. Use this map to navigate to the location.
