Summer camp can get expensive. For two days last week we used a drop-in summer camp so my daughter could go along with a couple of her friends and by the time it was said and done, the camp cost almost $150 for two days. Luckily, there are many free Edmonton summer amps and drop in programs to offset that price, many of which we will be taking advantage of through the summer.
If you’ve got a child interested in swimming, or interested in learning the basics of a new sport – check out this free water polo camp through the Edmonton Capitals.
The Edmonton Capitals water polo club is holding 2 week-long water polo camps for kids aged 4-14 years old swimmers and non-swimmers alike. As part of the camp programming, kids will be taught water safety, the basics of swimming, water polo technique, and play a scrimmage each day. To offset the techniques learned, kids will take part in fun activities at the camp.
Dates: August 17-21st and August 23-28th 12pm-1.30pm
Ages: 4-14
