For parents that are trying to encourage their children to get on the ice, but that don’t want to register in formal skating or can skate programs, there’s a great option coming up in 2018.
Meet new friends and learn the basics of skills through fun and games, activities for children between the ages go 6-12. This free drop in program is targeted for kids between the ages of 6-12, but children and families of all ages are welcome to attend.
The learn to skate program takes place in Glastonbury, at 1101 Grantham Drive between January 20th and February 24th, on Saturdays between 10 am and 1 pm.
Parents: skates and helmets are not provided, but are required to participate in the sessions.
