Seoul Fried chicken is one of our go-to places to grab dinner when we’re on the go and searching for something to eat and we’re in a rush in Edmonton but it’s not usually somewhere that we bring the kids, until recently.
$11 5-piece Chicken Set at Seoul Fried Chicken
It’s cheap: there’s a 5-piece chicken set with two sides, and one drink for $11 that’s easily enough to feed two children (especially if you get double fries). The other side options: pesto pasta salad, or corn fritters, are also popular options with the kids but they’re those options that you’re going to have to really encourage them to try – but likely once they try them they’re going to love them.
What flavours of Seoul fried chicken are the most kid-friendly? Go with the plain to start, next we would suggest honey soy, it’s almost like a honey garlic with a bit of kick. The grated Paderno is creamy on the top, with cheese that gets melty and gooey and even better as time goes on (this flavour is delicious, but might take a bit of convincing based on the how-it-looks-to-a-kid-rating).
Get Seoul Fried Chicken to go, it’s hard to find a table around dinner time because it’s packed full, but the wait is never long, averaging around ten minutes from the time we order dinner between five and six, so it’s quick enough to grab on the go and either bring home or stop by one of our favourite places to eat dinner outdoors in the city.
Tip // pre order using the website and skip the wait!
