You don’t have to adventure all the way to the mountains too take advantage of snow tubing with young children this winter. Located just an hour outside of Edmonton, Tawatinaw Valley has kid-friendly snow tubing and it’s completely free on Sundays.
Unlike the local ski hills, children as young as two can visit and snow tube with an adult. Children between 2-4 can venture down the hill with a parent or gaurdian, and children 4+ are able to snow tube solo, down the hill. Children must wear a CSA approved helmet while snow tubing. Rentals are available, or you can bring your own to make it a truly free day out with the kids.
TIP: Regular priced tubing is only five dollars per person, making it an inexpensive family day out, if you’re not available on Sunday.
