Pop-up Light Playground | September 22-30
Fifteen interactive illuminated see‐saws “IMPULSE” and six giant zoetropes “LOOP” will transform the Quarters into a space of urban play. Members of the public are invited to sit down and activate LOOP and IMPULSE, causing light and sound to intensify and beautiful fairy tale images to come to life.
Etsy Market: Edmonton | Saturday/Sunday,
The Etsy Made in Canada – Edmonton show is the largest indoor show that features the best Edmonton makes. Our makers are from Edmonton & area and make everything from furniture to clothing to toys to treats to art and everything in between. Organized entirely by a group of Etsy makers, this show is a part of the nationwide pop up sale Etsy Made in Canada. From coast to coast makers will be participating and Edmonton is the largest!
Free Lego Make and Take | Saturday
Look like a Ninja, Move like a Ninja, Build like a Ninja at this free LEGO event happening at local Toys R Us stores on Saturday morning. Kids will take part in activities and bring home a small LEGO build.
Festival of Leaves | Saturday, 1-3

Open Cockpit Day | Saturday, 11 am
This is your chance to experience our iconic collection of historic aircraft from the pilot’s seat, dress up like a fighter pilot, and paint an airplane. Other attractions include “Linus the parachute dog”, and other family-friendly activities and displays.
Free Admission Day | Sunday
There are plenty of things to do on Free admission day in Edmonton. It’s your chance to see the Zoo, the Muttart and get admission to the city of Edmonton rec centres, and local YMCA centres, completely free. Get out of the house and don’t spend a dime!
Fall O Ween Festival | Saturday and Sunday
There’s no place quite like Prairie Gardens & Adventure Farm’s Fall-o-Ween Fest to take in the tastes, sights, and aromas of the fall season! Full of rich autumn not-to-be-missed activities and decorative displays, interactive events for kids, panning for gems, musical entertainment, farmyard friends, Lost Lemon Mine, and the Ghost Town of Boo’n Accord!
