Similar to the other gym franchises, there’s an emphasis on action. Opening in Edmonton again on June 12, 2020, Clip n Climb is one of those fun outings that you’re going to want to add to your summer bucket list. Our kids are most excited about The Twister!
Clip ‘n Climb offers impressive climbing walls of various difficulty levels; with challenges for every level of kid (or adult). The timed climbs are some of the coolest activities, and similar to the Ninja Challenge that you’ll find at Amazone Playzone.
There are COVID precautions in place. Here’s what to expect when you visit:
Please keep in mind that the following list is Clip ‘n Climb Edmonton’s way of keeping staff and patrons safe as we navigate our relaunch (phase 2) on Friday June 12, 2020.
-
To adhere to the numbers allowed for indoor recreational gatherings at this time, ALL climbing sessions should be booked in advance and paid online before arriving. Online waivers must be completed during the booking process or can be completed on your own smartphone or device. This helps us limit and keep track of participant numbers ahead of time and secures your spot for that hour, while minimizing the need for physical interaction with point-of-sale equipment and the waiver kiosk upon arrival
-
Reduced climber capacity by 50% on the climbing floor. Climbers under the age of 18 (minor) can bring along ONE parent/helper. Anyone spectating and not actively helping their minor in the climbing arena will be expected to leave the climbing space, to observe physical distancing requirements in the seating area and are encouraged to wear a face mask.
-
Please bring your own face mask. If you do not have one or forget to bring one, you can purchase one from us.
-
Face masks must be worn where physical distancing is not possible, especially in our harnessing area where close interpersonal contact is required to ensure a properly fitted climbing harness. Once in the climbing arena and engaging in physical activity, climbers are permitted to remove their mask.
-
Hand hygiene is paramount BEFORE, DURING and AFTER climbing. Climbers are encouraged to bring their own hand sanitizer, and to use the hand sanitizer provided at the entry, in the seating area and in the climbing arena. Avoid touching your face (eyes, nose, mouth) while participating. Thorough hand-washing is highly recommended upon completion of the climbing activity.
-
We encourage all climbers to bring their own water bottle for refreshment after climbing. Please arrive dressed for climbing including wearing comfortable clothing and clean runners.
