Edmonton Outdoor pools are open for the season May Long weekend. Just in time for the warm weather to stay, you can explore your old favourites and the new pool to open in 2018: Borden Park natural swimming area.
In total, there are five Edmonton outdoor pools to access and cool off this summer in Edmonton. You can find the pools and all of the details in our Outdoor Pool Guide in Edmonton, here.
What should you know before you go?
Go Early
Even though there is free admission, you should still make plans to show up to the pool early in the day. There are limits to the amount of people that are able to swim in the pool at a given time, and on those hot days, the pool fills up quickly.
Bring Snacks
You can bring your own snacks and drinks with you to the pool, and it’s going to help keep the free access to the pool affordable for family fun in Edmonton. This way, you can skip the concession and bring snacks and drinks from home in a small cooler bag.
