Edmonton has a new dinner solution, and that solution is Chefs Plate. All the ingredients you need for dinner, for two or for four, delivered straight to your door.
How does it work? There are multiple meals that you can choose from every week, and two different delivery days for the meals to be delivered to your home. You can choose meals for two people or for four, and the ready to cook ingredients will be delivered to your home, fresh and ready to be made for dinner.
This week, we tried the service and were impressed with not only the quality of the ingredients that were in the package, but the fact that everything we needed to make dinner was included in the package. Plus, the price was under thirty bucks for the entire family – with an extra few bucks for an extra salad that I added into the meal, at the preference of the kids. That’s less than take-out.
Delivery is free for orders of four-person meals, and comes with a $6 charge if you’re ordering two, two-person meals a week – everything above and beyond that, comes with free delivery.
We love the fact that it gets us out of our comfort zone with cooking, and encourages the kids (and us) to try something new every once in a while. Since all of the ingredients are right there, we didn’t have to worry about searching for that last one ingredient for the meal, and the packaging and recipes were easy to follow and understand. Even for the novice chef (hands up over here) it’s easy, easy, easy to follow and make something delicious.
