During the summer, the camps and drop-in experiences can be expensive. Finding options that are going to provide the kids (ages 3+) with entertainment and learning, but that aren’t going to break the bank – can help you to get through those summer holidays.
Michaels Camp Creativity are drop in classes, three mornings a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Friday mornings, between ten o’clock and noon, that provide kids with a new craft to do, every day, with a new theme every week.
The best part? The cost for the classes is only $5/class or $12/week, for all three classes. The activities range in time required, but each usually takes under an hour. Parents have to stay within the store (hello, browsing time) but the classes are unparented, with helpers in the class.
Tip: classes on Friday feature a face paint experience, where kids can get their face painted in-store
Space is limited within the class, and signing up early is recommended. You can sign up by visiting your local store, to register for classes between July 4th and August 19th.
