Dinosaur-loving-kids rejoice, there’s a cool new event taking place at Telus World of Science that’s going to allow you to sleep with the dinosaurs in the new Dinosaurs Unearthed exhibit, and take part in a variety of activities throughout the evening and next morning. What a fun way to spend a summer night – creating memories that are going to be talked about over and over again.
During the Dinosnore Sleepover, participants will take part in several unique activities* at TELUS World of Science including:
- Exploring the feature exhibition, Dinosaurs Unearthed where you will come face to face with full size dinosaurs. You will be immersed in the age of dinosaurs and have hands-on fun as you discover the sounds, anatomy and digestion of these amazing creatures.
- Exciting dinosaur themed activities that will be fun for the whole family.
- Screening of Walking With Dinosaurs: Prehistoric Planet in IMAX® 3D
- An exclusive science demonstration mixing fun with science
- Exploring the permanent galleries
- Sleeping under the dinosaurs in Dinosaurs Unearthed
It’s a bit of a splurge at $74.95/person ($64.95.members) but the experience of being able to snore with the dinosaurs might just top your list for summer fun. You can always set it up as a parent date and do one parent and one child for a special night out.
To register for the Dinosnore event, phone at 780.451.3344 (Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.) or in person at the Box Office (11211 142 Street, open daily at 9:00 a.m.)
