Just about two hours from Edmonton, you’ll find one fall festival that you’re not going to want to miss this weekend. Great White North Pumpkin Weigh-Off and Fair.
What’s there to do for kids while you’re there? The midway, petting zoo, farmer’s market, crafts and games and a giant pumpkin drop! Not only can you marvel at the size of the giant pumpkin festival, in between the fun things to see and do, but you’re going to have the chance to bid on one of the pumpkins – imagine bringing one of those home!?
On Saturday, October 7th, you can start the day with a pancake breakfast. After a day full of fun, there’s the giant pumpkin drop. Where else in the province are you going to be able to experience seeing a giant pumpkin dropped from high in the air, and smash on the ground? There are activities all day for families and children, and you can end the day with the giant pumpkin drop!
