There’s something magical coming to Edmonton in August, and you’re going to want to check it out. It’s a camp that’s dear to our creating-hearts at one of the most inspiration spots for children and families in the city, Creation Space.
It’s Camp Dollhouse
At Camp Dollhouse, each camper will put together a large 4 room wooden doll house, and spend the week decorating it. Artists will create hand made wall paper, furniture, decor, and wooden dolls! At the end of the week take home your doll house for years of imaginative play! We will be making a visit to the Millcreek Ravine to hunt for some natural material to incorporate into our houses, as well as to the Edmonton Reuse Centre to seek out fabric scraps for curtains, blankets, and upholstery, as well as other delightful bits.
This full-day camp is our top choice for kids who want to take their creativity to the next level, making something with their hands – from scratch. It’s a full-on Creation Space experience where they get to create, enjoy the space, and the magic that comes with making something so special, that can be played with for years to come.
Suitable for children aged 4-10, the camp takes place between August 14-18th and registration can be completed online, through the convenience of the Creation Space website.
