Located under an hour outside of Edmonton, there’s some inexpensive fun you’re going to want to try, just a short road trip away. The Board Rider at Manluk Centre brings surfing to a local pool.
The board rider is a high quality wave machine that simulates surf conditions to give the rider the experience of surfing, without the beach.
The all new Board Rider combines skill, excitement and fun like no other standing wave attraction, and is only $10 for a pass to try it all day. With the regular admission to the Manluk Centre, it’s a fun day trip for older children (8+) to try. The regular admission is under five bucks, making it an affordable option for families who want to get out there and try something new.
Helmets and boards are provided at the pool. Kids are recommended to wear one piece swimsuits, and make sure they’re tied up tight – those waves are fierce.
