On Sunday mornings, we brunch. Whether we’re brunching alone or we’re bringing along the kids, CRAFT Beer Market is one of the places we frequent because of the kids favourite kids menu, and delicious brews – like the increddddddible Saison from Situation, afternoon tea with notes of Earl Grey and blackberry (seriously, you’ve got to try it).
In addition to that delicious brew – there are a few reasons that you’re going to want to enjoy brunch there, with the kids, like:
The Real Estate | And when I’m talking real estate, I’m talking booth size. The booths are massive, and you’re not squished into them, even if you’re bringing along three kids and a car seat with your brunch date.
Tip: Park in the library, it’s easy parking and access to CRAFT Beer Market
The Kids Menu | The Half-pint kids menu features the classics like grilled cheese and sliders, but you’re going to be impressed with the cheese flatbread. Our kids devoured it, and the portion sizes were generous with enough leftover to take home. Available for children under twelve, we appreciated the fact that all items on the menu were available with a gluten-free option – and the fact that they could get a traditional brunch, instead of the typical lunch classics, or the vanilla waffles with berries.
The Regular Menu | When it comes to brunch, sometimes you’ve just got to skip the kids menu. A couple of the favourites on the regular menu were the Snickerdoodle waffles – the shaved chocolate was an incredible add-on, and the poutine – because we’ve got kids that could eat poutine for every single meal.
The Patio | Though you’re going to have to bear a few flights of stairs to get to the patio, it’s one of our favourite in the city. Just leave the stroller in the car and use the baby carrier, if you’re not comfortable leaving the stroller or carrying it up with you. The space is fantastic, and you can tire the kids out on the way.
