PC Cooking School, operating out of the Whitemud Superstore location, is my go-to for getting the kids in the kitchen. We’ve done a handful of the classes, both together with the kids and solo, dropping them off for the experience – and the kids have learned practical recipes, and it’s helped to encourage them to want to get into the kitchen.
$20 Kids Edmonton Cooking Camps
Through the month of August, there are $20 camps available for children aged 6-11 to register. Each camp has a new theme, and if you’re like us, you’ve registered for a handful of the affordable experiences, for a chance to get your shopping finished without kids, run errands or simply have a coffee without hearing ‘I’m bored’, the anthem for the last couple of weeks of summer.
Upcoming classes include:
- August 3 – It’s all about the Dough
- August 8 – Fabulous Family Food Camp
- August 10 – The World of Chocolate
- August 15 – The Land of Candy Camp
- August 17 – Longest Banana Split Day
- August 22 – Rise to the Occasion
- August 24 – Hamburger Shamburger
It’s convenient and easy to register for the kids classes at PC Cooking School – we’re most excited about the Longest Banana Split Day! Anything that gets the kids in the kitchen, including making a 19′ banana split, is a win in my books!
