It’s Halloween and that means checking out all of the spooky houses and spaces in Edmonton! We’ve rounded up some of our favorite places to get scared in Edmonton and area.
Here’s where to see kid-friendly haunted houses in Edmonton area in 2018
Lakeland Haunted House | October 19 – 31
Designed for kids and adults alike, there have been children as young as three make their way through the haunted house. It’s free, but you’re asked to bring a food bank donation. Hours are between 6-9 pm daily, at the dates above.
The Spooktacular Acreage | Weekends until After-Halloween
More than 90+ inflatables and a spooky cemetery can be found at the Spooktacular Acreage. Donations are welcome at this initiative by Realty Execs, in the form of an unwrapped toy or monetary donation. It’s located outside the city, and worth a visit!
Summerside Haunted House | October 22-24
Looking for a good scare? Look no further and put on your bravest face! Please bring a candy donation for Grande Blvd residents and/or Food Bank donation for the Edmonton Food Bank. There are both lights on and lights off experiences available.
Garden of Lost Souls | October 27, 28, 29, 31
This all ages display is versatile, there’s a low scare haunt put on by kids under 15 and a high scare for people with the interest in adrenalin rush. Find it at: 7119 135a ave.
Rutherford Manner Haunt | October 26-31
Though not created for small children, children are admitted into this free haunted house. There’s a special lights-on session during one of the afternoons for families that want to take in the scare, without the lights out factor.
Pure Orthodontics Haunted Doll Factory | October 26
Pure Orthodontics Presents the 3rd Annual Haunted Doll Factory! Join us on Friday Oct 26th between 7-10pm. You won’t leave disappointed! Open to the public, Ages 13+ Enter at your own risk…. The Dolls are coming…
Sherwood Terror | October 26, 27, 31
This year Sherwood Terror is open to the public October 27, 28, and 31st from 6:00-10:00PM . The haunting grounds are even more terrifying with several new additions. Please join us, but enter at your own risk!!! Admission is free, however, we will be accepting donations to the #bebraveranch.
Edmonton’s First Haunted Showhome | October 31
We are having the first ever Haunted Show home here in Cy Becker at 1218 Cy Becker Road NW.
We will be collecting donations for Santa’s Anonymous and the Edmonton Food Bank for entry.
From 3pm – 5pm there will be no actors in the haunted house so if you want to come for the kid – friendly portion this would be the best time to come. From 5pm to 11pm there will be actors inside to add that extra depth or horror.
