Your Kid Can Set up a ‘Kid Business’ at Miller Crossing Farmer’s Market

Miller Crossing Farmers Market is offering an opportunity for local kids to test their entrepreneurial skills this summer.This is a learning opportunity for young people (10-16 years old) that have a passion for business. The main objective of the Kids’ Business at Miller Crossing Farmer market is encouraging the entrepreneurial spirit and work ethic in kids. Kids will learn basic skills such as how to advertise and sell the products, how to present their small business, how to communicate with the public and develop strong work ethics.

There are no fees to take part in this program, however, each young entrepreneur will be responsible for their own table and chairs, table-cloth and cash box. Millers Crossing Farmer’s Market will provide marketing support on our website, and free spots on the market.

The market will start on Sunday June 5th and will run until September 27th  on Tuesdays from 4pm-8pm, and Sundays from 10am – 3 pm.

There are 7 Sundays and 7 Tuesdays on which the market will feature Kids’ Business: June 05, June 19, June 14, June 28, July 3, July 12, July 24 and July 26, August 2, August 7, August 21, and August 30 September 4 and September 6.
