Halloween is right around the corner – so we’re sharing some of our favourite ways to celebrate with the kids in Edmonton. We’re featuring Halloween activities, Halloween events and Halloween parties for children in Edmonton.
Edmonton Zombie Walk | October 7, 2016
This year will be our 10th year anniversary and the theme will be Zombies of History. Any historic figure zombfied although the theme is not mandatory. First wave: 7 pm at Churchill Square we will be heading up Jasper Ave to the Legislature grounds, Second Wave: 9 pm we will be heading up the bridge then down 109 st and turning onto Whyte Ave ending at Gazebo Park (beside the Trans Alta Arts Barns). Kids are more than welcome to partake, in fact we encourage it, so feel free to bring the little ones!
Harvest Haunt | October 16, 2016
Care for a little adventure, come out dressed in your Halloween costume and enter a special draw for the Halloween Spirit. Kids get to “trick or treat” at all the show homes. Walk through our 5 brand new showhomes and collect your favorite items to enjoy the outdoor activities afterwards. There’s face painting, balloon artist, pumpkin painting (pumpkins free for first 200), photo booth, obstacle course lead by the Tri-Leisure Center TriACTIVE Life Team for the young and scarecrow building on hand. Feast on the pulled pork sliders and fresh pumpkin tarts, hot chocolate and coffee to keep you warm and toasty. If you’re are still hungry…Grab a tasty SweetTreat.

Crafts and activities are typically designed for children ages three to 10, but older children are also welcome to attend. Children will also receive a special glow-in-the-dark bag they can use when they go trick-or-treating, but limited quantities are available, so first come, first served. Children are invited to dress in their mini monster best! Please dress for the weather in case of lineups outside the Pavilion.
